3. Royal Opera House Muscat & Opera Gallery Museum
Admire the elegant architecture of Oman’s premier performing arts venue and explore its artistic and cultural atmosphere, with gallery or museum access subject to availability.

4. Al Alam Palace & Mirani Castle
Enjoy photo stops at the ceremonial palace of His Majesty the Sultan, surrounded by historic Portuguese forts, including Mirani Castle.

5. National Museum of Oman
Explore Oman’s rich history, heritage, traditions and maritime legacy through fascinating exhibits and cultural collections.

6. Traditional Omani Lunch
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local traditional restaurant and experience authentic Omani cuisine.

7. Mutrah Souq & Mutrah Fort
Wander through the traditional market, famous for frankincense, silver jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs. Visit Mutrah Fort for beautiful panoramic views of the sea, harbour and surrounding mountains.

8. Old Muscat & Sunset Views

Day 3: Muscat – Bimmah Sinkhole – Wadi Shab – Dhow Factory – Sur

3. Traditional Dhow Factory, Sur
Discover Oman’s maritime heritage at a traditional dhow-building yard, where skilled craftsmen preserve the art of constructing wooden boats.

4. Sur City & Overnight Stay
Continue to Sur, a historic coastal city known for its traditional dhow-building industry, fishing heritage and beautiful seaside views. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Sur – Turtle Watching – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands Desert Safari

Early Morning – Turtle Watching Experience

Start early with a visit to the turtle beach at Ras Al Jinz or Ras Al Hadd, subject to the tour arrangements. Learn about the nesting grounds of endangered green sea turtles and, if fortunate, observe turtle activity under the guidance of local staff. Desert Camp Checkout & Departure

After breakfast, check out from the desert camp and travel towards Nizwa, the historic cultural capital of Oman.

• 4. Journey to Jabal Al Akhdar

Continue towards Jabal Al Akhdar, the spectacular Green Mountain, famous for its cool climate, terraced farms, mountain villages, rose gardens and breathtaking canyon views. Access requires a suitable 4x4 vehicle and is subject to road regulations.

Evening – Hotel Check-in & Relaxation

Arrive at your hotel in Jabal Al Akhdar, check in and relax while enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Day 6: Jabal Al Akhdar – Mountain Villages – Muscat

Day 7: Dolphin Watching & Beach Relaxation at Shangri-La

Day 8: Daymaniyat Islands – Snorkeling & Turtle Watching

Start your morning with a transfer from your hotel to the marina for an exciting marine adventure to the beautiful Daymaniyat Islands.
